Executive Director: Angela Richter
Angela holds a MS in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Environmental Studies from Villanova University. She previously worked as Outreach Coordinator for Clean Water Action as well as held a variety of planning related jobs. Angela brings passion and knowledge about our aquatic-urban ecosystems to her role at SBCA.
Program Coordinator: Teresa Johnson
Teresa earned her Master’s in Environmental Management & Sustainability from St. Edward’s University and a BS in Natural Resources Conservation from the University of Massachusetts. She has previous experience leading environmental education programming. Teresa is passionate about fostering a connection to the environment in others and believes empowering local communities is essential to sustainable conservation.
Wastewater Campaign Organizer: Mike Clifford
Mike holds a B.S. Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and is currently working on his Environmental Sciences grad degree at ACC. He’s experienced with social media, website design, public relations, multimedia marketing, audio and video production, and engineering design. “I care deeply about the environment we are creating for future generations, and I’m excited about having the opportunity to work as an environmental advocate on hill country wastewater issues.”
Outreach Intern: Carinne Maravilla
“I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying International Relations & Global Studies with a focus in Environmental Studies. The reason I’m so attracted to SBCA and this internship is my passion for bridging the gap between environmental advocacy and community involvement. The waterways of Austin are enjoyed by many people and wildlife, making this city a very special place. I’m excited to help SBCA protect and preserve them.”
